Each afternoon, students rotate through three engaging program sessions designed to support their academic, physical, and personal growth:
✓ Homework & Academic Support – Dedicated time for homework, reading, literacy, and academic skill-building.
✓ MMA Training – Character-focused martial arts instruction that develops confidence, discipline, respect, focus, and self-control.
✓ Enrichment – Daily activities that vary throughout the week and may include social-emotional learning (SEL), arts & crafts, STEM, outdoor recreation, leadership activities, team-building, special guests, and more
Throughout the school year, students also participate in monthly themes and weekly affirmations that strengthen literacy, build character, and reinforce positive life skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Martial arts is an important part of the Team Nitro MMA SEALTeam experience and is designed to build confidence, discipline, respect, focus, and self-control—not competition or fighting.
Students are encouraged to participate in all MMA workouts and activities. However, participation in every physical component is not required. Students who are unable or choose not to participate in a particular activity are expected to remain engaged through observation, instruction, discussion, and other learning opportunities provided by the instructor.
We believe strong communication between home and the program is essential to every student’s success. Families receive regular updates through email, text messages, our parent communication platform, and school announcements regarding program activities, upcoming events, important reminders, and student achievements.
In addition, we host Family Engagement events approximately every other month, providing parents and guardians the opportunity to visit the program, see what students have been learning, celebrate their progress, and experience the Team Nitro MMA SEALTeam program firsthand.
These events are designed to strengthen the partnership between families and our program while giving you a front-row seat to your child’s growth and success.
