Youth Engagement Leaders are the heart of the Team Nitro experience. Each Leader is responsible for guiding a group of students through academics, leadership development, enrichment, and daily activities while creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment. This role helps students build confidence, character, and life skills through our unique SEALTeam model while ensuring every child feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to succeed.

What You’ll Do
– Lead and supervise an assigned group of students
– Facilitate homework support, leadership lessons, and enrichment activities
– Build positive relationships with students and families
– Reinforce character development, teamwork, and weekly affirmations
– Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment

Support Students. Strengthen the Team.

Youth Engagement Assistants work alongside Youth Engagement Leaders to help create a safe, engaging, and well-organized after-school experience. From assisting with student supervision to supporting academics, enrichment, and daily activities, this role plays an important part in helping students build confidence, character, and leadership skills through the Team Nitro SEALTeam model.

What You’ll Do
– Assist with supervising and engaging students throughout the program
– Support homework assistance, leadership lessons, and enrichment activities
– Help maintain a safe, positive, and organized classroom environment
– Reinforce positive behavior and Team Nitro expectations
– Build encouraging relationships with students and fellow staff
– Assist with daily setup, transitions, and dismissal procedures

Build Champions On and Off the Mat.

The MMA Assistant supports Team Nitro’s martial arts instruction and helps create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment for students. Working alongside the Lead MMA Coach, this role reinforces discipline, confidence, respect, leadership, and resilience through positive coaching, mentorship, and active student engagement.

What You’ll Do
-Assist the Lead MMA Coach with daily martial arts instruction
-Demonstrate and reinforce foundational MMA techniques, fitness, and discipline
-Help supervise students and maintain a safe, structured training environment
-Encourage student participation, confidence, and positive behavior
-Reinforce weekly affirmations, leadership principles, and character development
-Support equipment setup, breakdown, and organization
-Help monitor student progress and celebrate individual growth
-Assist with demonstrations, showcases, and special program events
-Collaborate with site staff to support the overall student experience

Ideal Candidate

You have martial arts or athletic training experience, enjoy working with young people, and understand how positive coaching can build confidence, discipline, leadership, and character. You are dependable, energetic, coachable, and comfortable supporting instruction under the direction of the Lead MMA Coach.

Keep the Program Running Smoothly.

The Site Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the daily success of Team Nitro’s youth development programs by supporting front-office operations, student accountability, and overall site organization. Working closely with site leadership, this role helps ensure students, families, and staff experience a safe, welcoming, and well-organized environment where programs run efficiently each day.

What You’ll Do
-Support daily front-office operations and serve as a welcoming point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors
-Collect and maintain accurate attendance, sign-in, sign-out, and authorized pickup records
-Help monitor student arrivals, transitions, and dismissals
-Stay informed about program schedules and activities to help prepare materials for students and staff
-Review student check-ins and promptly flag concerns for site leadership
-Coordinate incident documentation, including collecting reports, confirming required signatures, notifying the appropriate individuals, and tracking follow-up
-Maintain organized student files, forms, snack logs, and other required program records
-Assist with printing, filing, data entry, and general administrative needs
-Support end-of-day cleanup, organization, and building closing procedures
-Communicate operational needs and concerns to site leadership promptly
