Summer Camp Programming
The Team Nitro MMA SEALTeam Summer Camp is a high-energy, structured program that blends martial arts training, academic enrichment, and leadership development through our SEALTeam model (Social, Emotional, Academic, Leadership).
Designed for youth of all experience levels, our program provides a safe, engaging environment where students build discipline, confidence, and teamwork while staying active and connected throughout the summer. Unlike our after-school programming, which is offered through partner school sites, our summer camp is open to all families across the community. Students must be Duval County residents in grades K–12 to participate.
In partnership with Kids Hope Alliance and the City of Jacksonville, we are able to offer an innovative and affordable summer experience that expands access to high-quality youth programming for families across our community.

The SEALTeam Summer Experience
Daily MMA Training
Students participate in structured martial arts training focused on technique, fitness, discipline, and confidence-building. Throughout the summer, students build skills progressively and have the opportunity to earn rankings based on effort, growth, and mastery. The program culminates in an End of Summer Showcase, where families are invited to see firsthand what students have learned and accomplished.
Academic & Enrichment Activities
Our program integrates literacy, STEM, and hands-on enrichment activities to keep students academically engaged throughout the summer. Through interactive projects, challenges, and creative learning experiences, students strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills while staying connected to academic growth.
Leadership & SEL Development
Through our SEALTeam model (Social, Emotional, Academic, Leadership), students develop leadership skills, emotional awareness, and positive decision-making habits. Our program includes a dedicated Social Emotional Learning (SEL) coach who works with students in real-time to help them navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop strong interpersonal skills both on and off the mat.
Field Trips & Community Experiences
Students participate in a mix of on-site activities and off-site field trips, along with guest speakers and special experiences throughout the summer. Through partnerships with local organizations, we connect students to some of Jacksonville’s best community resources, exposing them to new environments, opportunities, and pathways for growth.
For Families
Team Nitro MMA Summer Camp provides a structured, high-energy environment where students stay active, continue learning, and build confidence throughout the summer. Our program combines martial arts training, academic enrichment, and leadership development to support the whole child.
Our upcoming camp will be hosted at Zarephath Academy (1028 E 10th St. Jacksonville, FL 30026), with programming designed for students in grades K–12 across Duval County. Core camp hours are 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, with before and aftercare options being finalized and available for families who need extended care.
Our program is designed to be both high-quality and affordable, with camp fees starting at $125 per student, which includes registration, a Team Nitro uniform, field trips, and all program activities. Daily lunch and snack are also provided as part of our commitment to supporting families and the community.
We are currently accepting interest only as we finalize site details and enrollment. Families who join the interest list will receive early access to registration, program updates, and priority placement when enrollment opens.
