What an amazing first week of SEALTeam Summer Camp!
|
Our Week 1 theme, "Without discipline, dreams are destroyed; with discipline, dreams are developed," set the tone as students kicked off their summer journey with energy and focus. From the very first day, campers built connections with one another and our staff, engaging in activities that promoted teamwork, creativity, and discipline.

This week’s highlights included:

MMA training, where students learned foundational stances and commands
|

Outdoor games and team challenges, including fan-favorite Rock-Paper-Scissors contests
|

|
Get-to-know-you interviews where students took the lead in learning about their instructors
|

|
Creative arts and dance games, where students had a blast with freeze dance and other fun movement activities
|
-
|
A generous donation from our community sponsors who provided daily meals and snacks for all students — and will graciously continue to do so next week!
|
We’ve attached next week’s menu to this newsletter so families can review it in advance. Beginning Monday, June 16, lunch will be provided through the Boys & Girls Club Food Program, and we are grateful for their partnership in helping us continue to serve our students nutritious meals throughout the summer. Looking Ahead: Week 2 Preview
This week is packed with exciting experiences!

We'll welcome special guests from Jacksonville University’s Marine Science Research Institute, who will guide students through hands-on learning about ocean life and conservation.
|

|
We’re also heading to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) for a field trip with students in 4th grade and up. Permission slips will be sent home today, so please be sure to return them promptly.
|

|
To cap off the week, students will enjoy a live magic show on Friday — full of fun, surprises, and smiles!
|
